HP CMAT 2012

HP CMAT 2012 - Himachal Pradesh Combined Management Aptitude Test is held for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs offered by universities and institutes in Himachal Pradesh. HP CMAT 2012 is state level entrance examination.

The Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Shimla of HP University has given the responsibility by the Himachal Pradesh Government for administration of HP CMAT 2012.

Graduate students and those in the final year of graduation in the year of HP CMAT can write this entrance examination. All students who seek admission in the basis of score in HP CMAT 2012 offered admission under subsidized categories. Graduate students without score in HP CMAT 2012 can seek admission under Non Subsidized category.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a 2-year program divided over 4 semesters. Students who successfully completes MBA program get work opportunities as managers in reputed organizations of government and public sector enterprises.

Opportunities also exist as lectures in colleges and university departments. Those willing to go for higher studies may join research programs like Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D). Many of them also turn into entrepreneurs. Opportunities are enormous for MBA graduates

HP CMAT 2012 Exam Pattern

HP CMAT 2012– Himachal Pradesh Combined Management Aptitude Test examines candidates’ ability in following four sections

English Comprehension
Reasoning
Business Environment and
Arithmetic Comprehension & data Interpretation

The HP CMAT 2012 is objective type test. Each section consists of 50 Multiple-Choice Questions (M.C.Qs.). Candidates qualifies in HP CMAT are called for Group Discussion & Interview. Final offer of admission is made on the basis of composite performance in Written HP CMAT 2012, Group Discussion and Interview.

HP CMAT 2012 Application Form

Application form along with handbook of information can be obtained from the business school on cash payment/demand draft at the following rates; subsidized and non subsidized-cash counter Rs 500/-, by post-Rs 550/-; SC/ST category subsidized and non subsidized-cash counter Rs 250/-; by post-Rs 300/-

The handbook of information will also be available at selected post offices in Himachal Pradesh for Rs 550/- for general category and Rs 300/- for SC/ST category. Demand draft should be in favour of Director, Himachal Pradesh University Business School, Shimla
